The Philippine Consulate General is authorized, through the Commissioned Consular Officer to solemnize marriages between two (2) Filipino nationals.

MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS

NOTE: Only marriages between Filipino nationals are performed by an authorized or duly commissioned consular officer within the Consulate premises.

Personal appearances of both parties and their witnesses are required when submitting the application for marriage.

General Requirements :

1. Original PSA-issued Birth Certificate 

          *If birth certificate is unreadable/not clear, submit copy of birth certificate from the local civil registry

2. Original PSA-issued Certificate of No Marriage Record (CENOMAR) 

          *CENOMAR must bear the complete and correct full name (first name, middle name, last name) and Date and Place of Birth of the contracting parties and their parents.

          *CENOMAR is valid for 6 months from the date of issuance and it must be "For Marriage Purposes".

3. One (1) piece of (preferably 2x2 size) photo for each party.
4. Valid passport copy of each party and their witnesses

      Additional Requirements:

1. For contracting parties aged 18 – 21 years old: Notarized Affidavit of parental consent
2. For contracting parties aged 21 – 25 years old: Notarized Affidavit of Parental advice
3. For Widow/Widower: Original PSA-issued Marriage Contract, Original PSA-issued Advisory on Marriage, and Original PSA-issued Death Certificate
4. For contracting parties with Annulled Marriages: Original and photocopy of the Certificate of Finality of Decision and Court Order, and Original PSA-issued Marriage Contract with annotation

PROCEDURE

1. Submit the required documents at Consular Section, Window 4 (Building 1)
2. Pay the required fees at the Cashier
3. Solemnization of Marriage will be scheduled after ten (10) days notice to the public

Dress code:   Bride - Formal/Semi-Formal dress or gown

                        Groom - Barong Tagalog/Business suit/Long-sleeved shirt with tie
