IMPORTANT NOTICE: 

Only marriages between two (2) Filipino nationals may be solemnized at the Consulate. 
Personal appearance of both parties is required when submitting the marriage application.

 



PROCEDURE FOR GETTING MARRIED AT JEDDAH PCG
  1. Bride and Groom should present themselves to the consular officer and submit all required documents at Window 2, Building 3.
  2. If the documents are complete, the bride and groom will be advised to wait for the call of the Consulate to confirm the date of their wedding.
  3. The marriage ceremony at the Consulate General may be scheduled only after the contracting parties have complied with all the requirements, and after the lapse of the mandatory publication notice of ten (10) working days.
  4. Please arrive at the time advised for your wedding ceremony, wearing the proper attire to avoid any inconvenience
     

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR GETTING MARRIED AT JEDDAH PCG
  1. Completely Filled-up Application FORMS

    1. Application for Marriage to be Solemnized inside Jeddah PCG

    2. Application for Marriage License

    3. Joint Affidavit of Contracting Parties

    4. Affidavit of Disinterested Person, accomplished by two (2) witnesses who should be present during the wedding ceremony

  2. Original Birth Certificate (BC) issued by the PSA, Apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

    1. If the BC is unreadable/unclear, a copy of the BC issued by the Local Civil Registrar is required

  3. Copy of the Passport Data Page of the Bride, Groom, and Witnesses

  4. Two (2) passport-size pictures of the contracting parties

 

Additional Requirements For Filipinos NOT previously married

1. Original Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) from PSA, Apostilled by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)

  • Please note: A CENOMAR is valid  for only six (6) months from the date of issue by the PSA
  • CENOMAR should reflect the names of parents indicated in the Birth Certificate
  • Make sure that the details/information such as spelling and dates on the BC, CENOMAR, Passport, and other documents are consistent

2. If a party is aged 18-21 years old: Affidavit of Parental Consent notarized, duly certified by the appropriate court, and Apostilled by DFA

3. If a party is aged 21-25 years old: Affidavit of Parental Advice notarized, duly certified by the appropriate court, and Apostilled by DFA

 

Additional Requirements for Filipinos Whose Previous Marriage has been Dissolved

  1. For Widow/Widower:

    1. PSA issued Advisory of Marriages, apostilled by the DFA

    2. PSA issued Death Certificate, apostilled by the DFA

  2. For contracting parties with Annulled Marriages:

    1. PSA issued Advisory of Marriages, apostilled by the DFA

    2. Certificate of Finality of Decision and Court Order of annulment, apostilled by the DFA

RULES ON ATTIRE

ALL attendees (Bride, Groom, Witnesses, and other Guests) must wear at least semi-formal (office) attire:

 
  • Bride
Formal / Semi-formal dress or gown ( as appropriate)
 
  • Groom
Barong Tagalog or long sleeves polo with tie

Please note:

  • NO JEANS/MAONG
  • NO SNEAKERS/RUBBER SHOES
  • NO SLIPPERS

Failure to abide by the rules on attire may cause the rescheduling of the ceremony.
