The Philippine Consulate General advises the Filipino community in Jeddah and the Western Region that the KSA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently informed it on the Kingdom’s standing guidelines on how to report the loss of travel documents (i.e passport; iqama) by (its nationals) and resident citizens of other countries like the Philippines, as follows:

1.    In case of loss of passport or iqamah, report the loss to the nearest branch of the Passport Department;
2.    In case of criminal incident (such as theft that results in the loss of passport or iqamah), report the loss to the police station; and
3.    If the loss happens in areas which have no branch of the Passport Department, the loss should be reported to the police station.
