Consul General attends the annual turn-over ceremony held by International Philippine School Based in Jeddah
Jeddah, 7 March 2019. The International Philippine School in Jeddah (IPSJ) held its annual turn-over ceremony on 7 March 2019. Consul General, Edgar B. Badajos, was invited as the guest of honor. The ceremony is regularly held around this time of the year to mark the symbolic turnover of responsibilities from the school’s graduating batch to the incoming seniors.
The juniors and seniors of IPSJ performed a wide array of cultural numbers. The event was followed by the ritual of the senior students passing over the metaphorical torch of responsibility and book of knowledge down to the juniors.
IPSJ is one of four (4) Philippine schools in Jeddah and is the oldest among them. END
