PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL (PCG) IN JEDDAH WELCOMES CONSUL MARY JENNIFER DINGAL TO THE JEDDAH PCG FAMILY
The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah welcomes Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal to the Jeddah PCG family. Consul Dingal replaces Vice Consul Alexander Joseph Estomo who has moved to the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, and takes over the functions of former Consul Rodney Jonas Sumague who has reported back to the Home Office in Manila after completing his tour of duty.
Prior to joining the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, Consul Dingal served as First Secretary and Consul at the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh from 2014 to August 2018. Her other foreign postings include the Philippine Embassy in Tripoli, Libya, from 2005 to 2009, and the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah from 2009 to 2012. Her re-assignment to Jeddah is, therefore, some kind of a homecoming.
Consul Dingal entered the Department of Foreign Affairs in November 2003. Before joining the Department, she was a professor at the Philippine Military Academy, University of the Philippines – Baguio, University of Asia and the Pacific and Saint Louis University.
She finished her Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education ’04 (Cum Laude) from the University of Baguio; Master of Science in Public Management ’99 from Saint Louis University; and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science ’93 (Cum Laude) also from Saint Louis University.
She is married to former Philippine Navy Officer Lieutenant Senior Grade Falco Illumar E. Dingal of PMA Class ’99 and they have been blessed with three (3) children.
Welcome, Consul Jen!
