PABORITONG PINOY PRODUCTS ON DISPLAY AT LULU HYPERMARKET IN JEDDAH
Jeddah, 04 July 2018 – Several Philippine products are presently being showcased at the Lulu Hypermarket in Marwah District, Jeddah as part of the ASEAN Fresh Festival. Philippine Consul General Edgar B. Badajos together with Consul General Mohamad Hery Saripudin of Indonesia opened the festival today.

The festival showcases products from ASEAN member countries. Philippine products on display include fresh fruits, pastries and breads, food seasoning, snack foods and traditional Filipino dishes. Consul General Badajos, in behalf of other ASEAN member countries, thanked the Lulu management for organizing the festival.

The Lulu Hypermarket chain and retail company, which started in the United Arab Emirates, already has two (2) branches in Jeddah and plans to expand in other areas of the Western Region of the Kingdom. It presently employs more than 100 Filipino workers in Jeddah.

Consul General Badajos was joined by Consul Rodney Jonas L. Sumague and Ms. Evangeline Malli Pungutan, Trade Assistant at the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC)-Jeddah. The ASEAN festival will run until the 10th of July. END
