CONSUL GENERAL BADAJOS WITNESSES TURNOVER CEREMONY FOR FIRST BATCH OF SENIOR AND JUNIOR STUDENTS IN JEDDAH UNDER K TO 12 PROGRAM
28 February 2018 – Consul General Edgar Badajos witnessed a turnover ceremony for the first batch of Grade 12 and Grade 11 students of the International Philippine School in Jeddah (IPSJ) under the K to 12 program of the Philippine Department of Education.
In a brief message, Consul General Edgar B. Badajos, noted the important step taken by IPSJ in implementing the K to 12 program for the children of Overseas Filipinos (OFs) in Jeddah. “The program is a milestone in our educational system. This educational reform program is expected to further elevate the competencies of our graduates making OFWs more globally competitive” Consul General Badajos said.

Consul General Badajos wished the Grade 12 students good luck in the next chapter of their journey, may it be further education, employment, or entrepreneurship.
IPSJ is among the first Philippine schools overseas to implement the K to 12 program. There are 46 Grade 12 students who are set to graduate this coming April while 86 Grade 11 students are expected to complete Senior High School in the next school year. END
