SAUDI-BASED COMPANIES VISIT PHILIPPINE PAVILION AT GULFOOD IN DUBAI
22 February 2018 – Thirteen (13) Saudi-based companies visited the Philippine Pavilion in GULFOOD at the World Trade Center in Dubai. GULFOOD is touted to be the world’s biggest annual food trade show. It ran from 18 to 22 February 2018. The Saudi-based companies include Saif Mohammad Trading, Rana Mohammed Saleem Trading, RAMA Modern Trading, Orient Provision and Trading Co., Al-Rasheed Trading, Nakheel Al-Waha Trading and Marketing, Al-Raqeeb Universal Group, Shadaif Group, Al Bahar Co., Generations Towers Trading, Jalam Mohammad Ali Melibari Holding Co., Shaflout Group and Good Livelihood for Trading.
In coordination with the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah through Ms. Evangeline Malli-Pungutan, Trade Assistant at the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC), the said companies visited the Philippine Pavilion in line with their desire to bring in more Philippine products to the Saudi market. “It is hoped that the companies’ visit to the Philippine Pavilion will further boost the presence of Philippine products in the Kingdom,” said Jeddah Philippine Consul General Edgar Badajos.

Twenty-three (23) Philippine companies showcased the best of the Philippines’ halal-certified, healthy and organic products, including fruits and vegetables, seafood and marine products, ethnic and gourmet selections, and beverage products, at the GULFOOD. END
