Press Release No. 28-2016

(17 October 2016, Jeddah) - The 2016 Special Professional Licensure Board Examination (SPLBE) was conducted by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) delegation on 14-16 September 2016 at the Ibn Sina College, Jeddah. The seven-man PRC delegation, led by Director Rodrigo Balaqui Jr., included Atty. Maria Liza Hernandez, Messrs. Judith Aquino, Ana Marie Jeremias, Marilou Bermudez, Mary Ann Degala and Mr. Crisanto Decena.

 

From a total applicant of 734 this year, 665 actually took the examinations.  This figure represents a 94.44 percent increase from last year’s examinees which was only 342 as shown in the table below:

As in previous years, personnel from the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Philippine Consulate and the officers of the Philippine Professional Organizations –

Western Region Saudi Arabia (PPO-WRSA) closely coordinated with the PRC during the preparations for SPLBE 2016 as well as during the actual conduct of the examinations. END.
