Validity of Philippine Passports extended for free

30 September 2015 - All expired or expiring Philippine passports will be extended for free (gratis) for a period not less than one (1) year but not more than two (2) years, after application for renewal of the old passports.  The extension shall be granted to applicants whose applications were submitted not later than 30 December 2015.

The extension of validity of passports will allow travelling Filipinos to pass safely and freely with valid passports, not burdened by the delays in passport production, a situation not of their own choice.

For those interested, you can proceed  to the DFA-Office of Consular Affairs (OCA), Regional Consular Offices (RCOs) including Satellite Offices in the Philippines and all Philippine Foreign Service Posts.

For Filipino nationals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, please proceed to the Consular Section of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah or the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh.
