In accordance with existing rules and regulations of the citizenship and Immigration Office in Canada as relayed by the Philippine Embassy in Ottawa, all Filipino nationals (including dependent family members above eighteen (18) years old), intending to travel to Canada for reason of work or study, are required to submit police clearance certificates from the country of last employment or residence, where they worked or resided for the last six (6) months in succession.
In view of this, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah would like to advise all Filipinos in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia who are planning to work or study in Canada, to secure Saudi police clearance certificate before they leave the Kingdom to avoid any inconvenience when they apply for residency in Canada.
