Starting today, all officers and staff members of the Consulate General in Jeddah, including those of its attached services, will be wearing its new office ID. This identification card contains the name, designation and photo of the bearer (sample IDs are hereto attached). It also mentions that the public is welcome in the Consulate.
During the flag-raising ceremony when the new office ID was officially launched, Philippine Consul General Leo Tito L. Ausan, Jr. enjoined all personnel to wear their IDs prominently at all times while inside the premises of the Consulate even if it is already beyond office hours. This they must do not only during office days but also during weekends/holidays while at work or on duty. The Consul General also reminded his staff that no one is exempted from wearing the said ID.
As the new ID scheme aims to easily identify Consulate personnel and distinguish them from those who are not, the transacting public is advised and reminded to, henceforth, deal only with those who are wearing this ID and no one else while transacting business inside the Consulate’s premises. END.
