The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah is pleased to inform the Filipino community in the Western Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that the League of Cities of the Philippines (LCP) has announced the inclusion of the Heritage City of Vigan as among the 14 official finalists in the search for New 7 Wonders-Cities of the World.

In alphabetical order, the 14 Official Finalists in New7Wonders-Cities are: Barcelona (Spain), Beirut (Lebanon), Chicago (United States), Doha (Qatar), Durban (South Africa), Havana (Cuba), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), La Paz (Bolivia), London (United Kingdom), Mexico City (Mexico), Perth (Australia), Quito (Ecuador), Reykjavik (Iceland), and Vigan (Philippines.). It is important to note that all previous votes cast will not be counted and the tally will be backed to zero. The final elimination is set on 07 December 2014
