Consul General Rommel Romato Presents Letter of Commission to H.E. Farid bin Saad Alshehri, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Makkah al-Mukarramah Branch

JEDDAH 17 February 2025 – Consul General Rommel Romato presented his Letter of Commission to His Excellency Farid bin Saad Alshehri, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Makkah al-Mukarramah Branch, on 17 February 2025.

Following the presentation of his Letter of Commission, Consul General Romato and His Excellency bin Saad Alshehri briefly discussed matters of interest between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, particularly in boosting economic cooperation and cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Prior to his current appointment as the Consul General of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, H.E. Rommel Romato served as the Consul General and Charge d’Affaires of the Embassy of the Philippines in Riyadh. END
