“Filipino Film Showing sa Jeddah held in IPSJ, Jeddah PCG,
in celebration of Buwan ng Wika”
JEDDAH 29 August 2024 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah organized an activity entitled “Filipino Film Festival sa Jeddah, a Filipino film showing activity in collaboration with the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the International Philippine School in Jeddah (IPSJ), and the Migrant Workers Office in Jeddah held on 28-29 August 2024, in celebration of Buwan ng Wika.
Filipino films, “Ang Babae sa Likod ng Mambabatok” and “Halawod” were screened at the Gymnasium of IPSJ on 28 August 2024. The film showing was attended by 600 high school students of IPSJ, while the film showing activity at the Social Hall of the Consulate featured Filipino film “Pauwi Na” on 29 August 2024, and was participated by 60 residents of Bahay Kalinga.
