ConGen Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian Receives BARRM MP Abdullah G. Macapaar

21 June 2023 – Consul General Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian received the Honorable Abdullah G. Macapaar, a Member of the Parliament of the Bangsa Moro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), who called on the Philippine Consulate General  on 19 June 2023. MP Macaapar, also known as Commander Bravo, arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform this year’s Hajj pilgrimage.

ConGen Auxilian and MP Macapaar discussed matters of shared interest, including updates on the developments in securing the peace and prosperity in the BARMM region and scholarships for Muslim students.

During the courtesy call, MP Macapaar was accompanied by some of his relatives, Assistant Labor Attaché Solaiman Mutia, and Dr. Insanoray D. Amerol-Macapaar, Provincial Chief Administrator of the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE) of BARMM. END
