Jeddah PCG Holds Consular Mobile Outreach in Jizan

A team of officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG) and the attached agencies (MWO-OWWA and SSS) conducted a consular mobile services (CMS) mission in Jizan, Saudi Arabia on 15 - 17 June 2023.

With the active support of the overseas Filipino community in Jizan, Jeddah PCG provided a wide range of consular services, ranging from passport applications, registry of births and marriages, to authentication of official documents, as well as legal consultations through Jeddah PCG’s legal retainer Tebyan Law Firm, and assistance to nationals services. MWO-OWWA and SSS also provided labor-related assistance such as verification of labor contracts, consultation for labor cases, and payment of OWWA and SSS premiums.

Jizan is a port city and the capital of Jizan Region, which lies in the southwest corner of Saudi Arabia. Jizan City is situated on the coast of the Red Sea and is home to over a quarter of a million people. There are around nine thousand (9,000) Filipinos living in the Jizan Region. END
