New Batch of Filipino Evacuees from Port Sudan Arrive in Jeddah

19 May 2023, Jeddah – Officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG) welcomed another batch of twenty-seven (27) Filipino evacuees from Sudan who arrived in Jeddah through the King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA)- Hajj Terminal. The workers received assistance from the Jeddah PCG team led by Vice Consul Jeremiah P. Attento and the team from the Migrant Workers Office in Jeddah led by Assistant Labor Attache Solaiman Mutia.

The twenty-seven (27) Filipino evacuees from Sudan arrived in Jeddah on 19 May 2023 and were welcomed by the Jeddah PCG Evacuation Team, headed by Vice-Consul Jeremiah Attento and the Migrant Workers Office in Jeddah, led by Assistant Labor Attache Solaiman Mutia.

The evacuees will fly out to Manila tomorrow, 20 May 2023, onboard Saudi Airlines (SV 870). They are expected to arrive in Manila on the evening of the same day (20:45 PST). END
