Jeddah PCG hosts farewell program for Singapore Consul General, Dean of the Consular Corps in Jeddah
Jeddah, 31 January 2022 -The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, as coordinator of the Asian Consuls General Club (ACGC), hosted on 30 January 2022 a farewell lunch and program for outgoing Consul General of Singapore in Jeddah and Dean of the Consular Corps in Jeddah, H.E. Mr. Raziff Aljunied.
The program, which was attended by the Consuls General and other officers of the ACGC member countries, included an awarding of a plaque of appreciation for Consul General Aljunied, in recognition of his contribution and support to the ACGC and its cultural projects and activities.

Other Consuls General in photo are (from left to right): Mr. Han Byoung-jin of South Korea, Mr. Muhammad Nazmul Hoque of Bangladesh, Mr. Pg Salimin Pg Daud of Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Soradjak Puranasamriddhi of Thailand, Mr. Tan Banglin of China, Mr. Eko Hartono of Indonesia, Mr. Chandra Kumar of Singapore, and Deputy Consul General of Pakistan Mr. Shaiq Ahmed Bhutto.
Philippine Consul General Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian thanked Mr. Aljunied for the unfailing support he has given especially during the coordinatorship of the Philippines of the ACGC, which led to the successful mounting of its major activities such as the Asian Food Festival and Asian Film Festival. Consul General Auxilian also thanked Mr. Aljunied for the friendship forged with fellow Consuls General that kept the group strongly united, and for his excellent leadership as Dean of the Consular Corps in Jeddah.
Consul General Aljunied served as diplomat in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a total of thirteen (13) years, nine years of which was spent as Consul General of Singapore in Jeddah. -END-
