The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah and POLO-Jeddah continue to receive requests from Filipinos, both documented and undocumented, in need of assistance due to the ongoing employment instability in the Kingdom and the lack of regular and affordable flights going back home because of the pandemic.

The Philippine government again extends its sincerest appreciation to the Saudi immigration authorities, Philippine Airlines officials, and the Filipino community in Jeddah for their assistance and support in making the repatriation flight possible.

To date, the Philippine government has repatriated almost 4,000 Filipinos from Jeddah to Manila since the start of the pandemic in 2020. Another repatriation flight is being organized by the Department of Labor and Employment through the POLO in December this year.
