Consul General Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian calls on His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of Najran

Jeddah, 24 November 2021 – Newly-accredited Philippine Consul General in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Hon. Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian paid his first-ever courtesy call outside of Jeddah on the Governor of the Najran Region, His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed. The Consul General, who was accompanied by Vice-Consul Lemuel C. Lopez, was received at the Najran Governor’s Office Tuesday, 23 November 2021.

During the cordial meeting, Consul General Auxilian extended his gratitude to His Highness in ensuring the safety and well-being of the estimated 7,100 Filipinos living in the Najran Region, most especially in the administration of free vaccinations to all citizens and residents alike to fight the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. His Highness responded by expressing his admiration for the courage Filipino medical frontliners living in the Najran Region have shown during the onslaught of the pandemic.

Consul General Auxilian also congratulated His Highness for Najran’s impressive infrastructure development in the last three years and for Saudi Arabia’s overall continued success in the implementation of projects to achieve its Vision 2030. END
