PCG Jeddah joins Amazing ASEAN Food Festival
at LuLu Hypermarket

(Jeddah, 5 August 2021) – Philippine consulate personnel led by Consul and Acting Head of Post Mary Jennifer Dingal and Trade Assistant Bugshan Tendegaranao, and several members of the Filipino community in Jeddah attended the grand opening of the Amazing ASEAN Food Festival sponsored by LuLu Hypermarket on 4 August 2021.

Aside from the Philippines, the event was also attended by the Consulates General of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. All four Consulates General proudly showcased their products, mostly high-quality food items, which were on display at LuLu Hypermarket, Amir Fawaz Branch.

In her remarks, Consul Dingal expressed her appreciation to the management of LuLu Hypermarket for inviting the Philippines Consulate General to participate in the event. She thanked LuLu for not only “giving a taste of home, but also a feel of home” to Filipinos in the Western Region by importing Filipino products to Saudi Arabia. She lauded the efforts of LuLu in importing a wide-range of Filipino products, both food and non-food, also invited LuLu and other Saudi businessmen to import more products from the Philippines.
