In her message, Jeddah PCG Acting Head Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal said that the Kalayaan Concert is a way of recognizing the freedom fought for by Filipino heroes, which is now being enjoyed by every Filipino. Their (heroes) sacrifices made us a country with our own identity, sovereignty, language as well as culture and art forms such as music, dances, literatures, fashion, etc.
