ACTING CONSUL GENERAL OF BANGLADESH CALLS ON
CONSUL GENERAL BADAJOS

Consul General Edgar Badajos and Acting Consul General SM Anisul Haque

(Jeddah, 16 March 2021) –Minister SM Anisul Haque, Acting Consul General of the Republic of Bangladesh Jeddah to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,called on Consul General Edgar Badajos on 16 March 2021.

During their meeting, Consul General Badajos and Acting Consul General Haque exchanged views on matters of common concern,including the recent implementation of the Saudi Labor Reform Initiative (LRI) and its impact on migrant workers in the Kingdom.

Acting Consul General Haque is concurrently the Deputy Chief of Mission at the Bangladeshi Embassy in Riyadh and also the Deputy Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He is also the Lead Representative of Bangladesh on matters related to its joint military cooperation with Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.
