Press Release No. EBB-23-2020
Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah to Adopt Appointment System for Select Consular Services
08 June 2020, Jeddah KSA - The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah will adopt an appointment system for passport renewal, civil registry, and document processing beginning 14 June 2020.
The Consulate General is adopting an appointment system to prevent overcrowding and overflow of clients more than can be accommodated in any given day, consistent with Saudi government regulations on social distancing and large public gatherings to prevent the further transmission of COVID-19. An appointment system will also enable clients to better plan their next visit to the Consulate. With a booked appointment, clients are one-hundred percent sure of being served, instead of taking chances that they will be attended to at all which is the case under the current walk-in system.
Filipinos wishing to avail themselves of the abovementioned services may book an appointment by following five (5) easy steps:
- Visit https://jeddahpcg.appointlet.com;
- Select the desired service;
- Select the preferred date and time of appointment;
- Supply the information required from the applicant (i.e., email address, name, and contact number), and
- Review the booking information before confirming the same.
Applicants will receive an email message confirming their appointment. A printout of the email confirmation or as shown in their mobile device and an ID will serve as their entry pass on their scheduled date and time. Applicants are advised to arrive at the Consulate premises no more than fifteen (15) minutes before their appointment. END.
