Consul General Badajos convenes Asian Consuls General Club, hands over plaque of appreciation to Indonesian CG
Jeddah, December 29, 2019 -- Consul General Edgar B. Badajos called a meeting of Asian Consuls General Club (ACGC) on 26 December to discuss preparations for the major activities of the Club in 2020, and also to handover a plaque of appreciation to Indonesian Consul General H.E. Dr. Mohamad Hery Saripudin who will be completing his tour-of-duty by the end of the year.
As ACGC coordinator this year, Consul General Badajos hopes to strengthen coordination among member countries by holding regular meetings to discuss cultural promotion activities of the Club. He also proposed opening of the Club to other Asian countries to make ACGC more dynamic and inclusive.
ACGC is composed of 13 member Asian countries. Among its yearly activities are an Asian Food Festival and Asian Film Festival. -END-
