Jeddah PCG chairs ACGC Working Group Meeting to finalize plans for Asian cultural activities
December 29, 2019, Jeddah- The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG) called for a lunch-meeting on 26 December with the technical working group (TWG) of the Asian Consuls General Club (ACGC).
The meeting, led by Vice-Consul Alfred Kristoffer Guiang, gave updates on the preparations for the Club’s major activities in 2020 such as a month-long Asian Film Festival set in February until the first week of March next year, and an Asian Food Festival slated on 6 March 2020. The two activities aim to promote the artistic traditions of member Asian countries through food and film.
For 2019 until early 2020, Jeddah PCG is coordinator of the Club and has since convened a series of meetings to ensure that the major activities of the Club will be executed well.
ACGC is composed of 13 member Asian countries, namely Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. -END-
