PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN JEDDAH ATTENDS FOODEX SAUDI 2019

(Jeddah, 13 November 2019) –The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Consul Mary Jennifer D. Dingal, the Consulate’s Economic Officer, attended Foodex Saudi, Saudi Arabia’s leading international trade exhibition which is 100% dedicated to the food and drink industry.

Now on its 7th year, the 2019 edition was able to gather over 51 countries, with their respective trade exhibitors participating in the event, each displaying a wide range of global offering of food and drink products and solutions.

Foodex Saudi 2019 featured a Business Matching Program to enable decision-makers and managers to arrange a schedule for their meetings within the exhibition; a Salon Culinaire Competition, an international chef competition which attracted the country's leading chefs to compete across many categories while being evaluated by international judges; and Innovation Awards 2019 to honor the best food innovations in terms of quality and presentation.
