Jeddah PCG supports the Najran Filipino 

community’s bloodletting drive in Najran

(Jeddah, 8 September 2019) – On 7 September 2019, Consul General Edgar B. Badajos visited the King Khaled Hospital in Najran to personally witness the bloodletting drive of some members of the Filipino community in Najran.

Consul General Badajos thanked the Filipinos who unselfishly participated in the bloodletting campaign. He added that donating blood is probably one of the most important things one can do as a personal advocacy as it saves lives. He expressed his appreciation to the management of the hospital for their trust and confidence in their Filipino medical workers.

The hospital employs around 300 Filipinos medical workers, mostly nurses.

Consul General Badajos visited the hospital together with Consul Mary Jennifer Dingal, Mr. Faisal Mailao and Ms. Nemencia Marcos, Filipino Community Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator in Najran, respectively.
