Jeddah PCG assures Filipino-Muslim pilgrims of the Consulate’s support during Hajj

Jeddah, 9 July 2019 – Consul General Edgar B. Badajos has assured the Filipino-Muslim pilgrims to this year’s Hajj of the Consulate’s support during the pilgrimage season. Consul General Badajos made the assurance during a meeting with the advance party of the 2019 Hajj Supervisory and Medical Team of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) held today at the Jeddah PCG Conference Room.

According to the team, some 7,000 Filipino-Muslims will be joining this year’s Hajj. The figure is 700 more compared to last year’s total number of pilgrims.

Consul General Badajos informed the team that the Consulate has created a Task Force to assist the pilgrims during their stay in the Kingdom. -END -
