PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN JEDDAH CONDUCTS FIELD VOTING FOR FILIPINOS IN ABHA AND NEIGHBORING AREAS
(5 May 2019, Jeddah) - A team from the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah facilitated the conduct of Field Voting for registered Filipino voters in the city of Abha and neighboring areas from 2 to 4 April 2019 at the Abha Palace Hotel. This is the second Field Voting activity conducted by the Consulate for the ongoing overseas voting for the 2019 National Elections. The first field voting was conducted in Tabuk on 26 to 27 April 2019.
A total of 274 registered voters cast their ballots during the activity. Of the 274 registered voters, 194 were males and 80 were females.

The next Field Voting will be held in Makkah on 11 May 2019, from 2:00 p.m. onwards, at the Estiraha Aljaaki Lajamia Alman Sabay, Ibrahim Al Jufali Street, al Awali District, Makkah, simultaneously with the conduct of Consular Mobile Services. (END)
