2014 PRESIDENTIAL AWARDS

Submission of Nominations Extended to 30 June 2014

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah informs the Filipino Community in the Western Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that according to the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO), the deadline for the submission of nominations, including endorsement of the Foreign Service Posts for the Year 2014 PRESIDENTIAL AWARDS FOR FILIPINO INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATION OVERSEAS, has been extended to June 30, 2014. 

The Presidential Awards is a biennial search to recognize outstanding Filipinos and other individuals or organizations which contribute to Philippine development initiatives, or promote the interests of overseas Filipino communities.  The awards are also given to overseas Filipinos who have exceptionally distinguished themselves in their work or profession. 

The four categories of awards to be conferred on Filipino individuals and private organizations overseas are as follows: (1) Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino (Linkapil) Award; (2) Banaag Award; (3) Kaanib ng Bayan Award; (4) Pamana ng Pilipino Award.

Completed nomination and endorsement forms with supporting documents should be submitted to the CFO at Citigold Center, 1345 President Quirino Avenue corner South Superhighway, Manila, Philippines.  Said documents may also be sent through e-mail at This email address is being protected from spambots.
