The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah would like to inform the public that it has not received any confirmation from the Saudi government on the rumored amnesty. All the reports about the amnesty circulating in social media, newspapers and among the Filipino community at the moment are mere speculations.

Our Kababayans are advised to monitor advisories of the Consulate General, which are published in the Consulate website and Facebook page, regarding the procedures for repatriation. The Consulate General is continuously coordinating with concerned authorities regarding the repatriation of undocumented workers and issues advisories as soon as there are new procedures issued by the Saudi government.
