(16 August 2016, Jeddah) – Philippine Consul General Imelda M. Panolong attends the 8th Chapter Board Induction and Recognition of New Members of the United Architects of the Philippines (UAP-K.S.A. – Western Region Chapter) held on August 12, 2016 (Friday) at the Trident Hotel Jeddah.

The event, with the theme, “Unity, Accountability and Professional Excellence”, was spearheaded by Ar. Joselito C. Palacol as the new UAP Chapter President. During his inaugural address, Ar. Palacol shared with the group his vision and plans for UAP KSA-WRC. The inductiom of newly elected officers was led by Ar. Guillermo H. Hisancha, National President, and was witnessed by Ar. Florencio Romario T. Sebastian III, UAP District Director, A4 and Ar. Renato Heray, Secretary General UAP via Skype.

During her address, Consul General Panolong congratulates the newly inducted officers and members of the UAP KSA-WRC. Acknowledging the group’s resiliency at this time of crisis in the Kingdom, Consul General Panolong also urges everyone to be true to the vision and mission of the chapter, and to never stop in performing well in their assigned tasks as architects even in the midst of difficulties.

The United Architects of the Philippines-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Western Region Chapter (UAP-KSA WRC), which was formally added to the roster of international chapters of the United Architects of the Philippines in 2009, together with UAP-KSA Riyadh and UAP-KSA Eastern Province, is one of the active Filipino community organizations in Jeddah. For several years now, the chapter has been assisting and taking the mentorship responsibility to the OFW graduates of Architecture who wish to take the Architecture Licensure Examination. END.
