Consul General Badajos pays a courtesy call on the
Director General of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs 
Makkah Al Mukarramah Branch

(Jeddah, 19 November 2020) – On 19 November 2020, Consul General Edgar B. Badajos paid a courtesy call on H.E. Hani bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Mominah, the newly-designated Director General Ministry of Foreign Affairs Makkah Al Mukarramah Branch.

During the meeting, the two sides noted the good relations between the Philippines and Saudi Arabia and the invaluable contributionsof Filipino migrant workers to Saudi Arabia’s economy and culture.

Consul General Badajos thanked H.E. Mominiah and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs Makkah Al Mukarramah Branch for its unceasing support for the Consulate and the Filipinos in Jeddah and the Western Region of Saudi Arabia.

Before his designation as Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Makkah Al Mukarramah Branch, H.E. Mominahserved as Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Tanzania. He also worked as Head of Mission and Charge d’ Affairs at the Saudi Embassy in Bangkok between 2002 and 2005.
