Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah holds Lingkod at Kabalikat
e-Seminar and e-Financial Literacy for OFWs
Jeddah, 9 September 2020 – The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah held on 3 September 2020, an e-seminar entitled, Lingkod at Kabalikat, with Pag-IBIG Fund and the Social Security System (SSS) Jeddah Office, and a representative of BDO Remit Jeddah as resource speakers.
During the forum, Consul General Edgar Badajos fielded questions to both Pag-IBIG Fund Information Officer Mr. Jamal Baguan and SSS Representative Michael Ingal on the various programs and services that OFWs can avail themselves of from both offices, especially at this time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Jeddah-based BDO Remit Marketing Officer Mr. Jonathan Celis, on the other hand, gave an e-seminar on financial literacy, a very timely topic for OFWs at this time, especially those who are planning to return to the Philippines very soon.

Lingkod at Kabalikat e-Seminar and e-Financial Literacy for OFWs is part of the Consulate’s Digital Diplomacy Program which aims to be more responsive and relevant to the needs of its clients by using the digital platform. End
