PCG conducts Briefing-Seminar-Orientation on the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) Problem in the Philippines for its Personnel and the Filipino community

(18 June 2019, Jeddah) – On 15 June 2019, the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah conducted a briefing-orientation for its personnel and the Filipino community on the Communist Terrorist Group (CTG) problem in the Philippines. Second Secretary Allan Hencel B. Campos, Philippine Foreign Liaison Officer based in the Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, conducted the briefing.

The briefing is part of the program of the government to raise awareness about the CTG problem in the Philippines, and the role of Philippine diplomatic missions abroad and the Filipino community in ending the local communist armed conflict.

During the briefing, Second Secretary Campos told the participants that the fight against the CTG is not just a military struggle, but a social problem that entails the assistance of all sectors of society. (END)
