All-time Favorite Filipino Foods to Dazzle Plates and Palates in Food Festival on April 6 at Attalah Happy Land Park

Jeddah, 1 April 2019 - All-time favorite Filipino foods like adobo and kare-kare will dazzle plates and palates during the Philippine Food Festival slated to be held at Attalah Happy Land Park on 6 April 2019, from 4:30 to 6:30p.m.

Jeddah’s top Filipino restaurants have been invited to dish out their best Filipino food preparations for the hundreds of OFW families and other patrons who are expected to troop to Happy Land Park for the festival and for the concert of pop artist Piolo Pascual, which is taking place later in the evening of the same day.

The Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah organized the Philippine Food Festival in cooperation with the management of Attalah Happy Land Park and Filipino community group Amore Familiare. It is the Consulate’s local version of the Philippine Food Month, which is celebrated all over the Philippines in April every year. The management of Attalah Happy Land Park kindly agreed to incorporate the food festival in the park’s Philippine-themed day-long festivities dubbed, “Mabuhay Manila: Sama Saya sa Happy Land sa Jeddah,” with Piolo Pascual as the featured artist.

Bringing a small but quintessential demonstration of all-time favorite Filipino foods will certainly give those present who are non-Filipinos a taste of foods they have never sampled or seen. In doing so, the festival not only celebrates the unique blend of Filipino foods but also gives a chance to the Filipino community as a whole to find connection with other nationalities through the comforts of food.

Everyone is invited to join the festival for an unforgettable gastronomic experience with all-time favorite Filipino foods at the front and center of the festivities. END
